Dave Ray...
aka David Dogma co-wrote My First Love Was a Whore with Jason Diller,
published by TreeHouse Press in 2005. Dave is a painter, poet and
political de-activist. He says on ballot issues, "I like to vote either all Yes or all No, depending on my mood the day of the election." Dave runs Bart's Books in Ojai, California, just around the corner from TreeHouse Press.

"yeah. me too." i smiled.
"his is being published."
"mine too."
i looked at his shoes.
they were nice.
"who is publishing your book?"
i didn't answer. he told me
why his kid had a better book.
i finally agreed. i admitted i had
thought the riot was in 1908 and
hadn't really written about it.
