How can I start using Treepod?
Simply go to http://www.treepod.com and sign up! It’s free and easy.
How can I add family?
During setup you will be asked which, if any, of your family members you’d like to add. After initial setup, simply click Add Family from your page.
Can I add a "family friend"?
Yes.
What types of family relationships are supported?
Immediate family, Extended family, In-Laws, Steps, Godparents/children, Distant Relatives, Family Friends, and Ex’s.
Can children under the age of 13 use Treepod?
Yes. We have a separate privacy policy for children and conform to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
How is Treepod "private"?
In order for family members to see content you share on Treepod, you must actively invite or accept someone. Information non-family members can potentially see is limited to your name, profile photo, and relationship to other family members. There is no people search function on Treepod.
How can I share a photo on Treepod?
Click Add Photo.
Does Treepod keep the original full-resolution of the photos I upload?
Yes. You and your family have full access to your original full resolution hi-res photos. There is no charge for this.
Can I share to Facebook from Treepod?
Not at this time.
How can I stop sharing with someone?
Currently, you cannot remove a family member. If you’d like to stop sharing a certain photo or photo album with your family, you can simply delete it.
How can I delete a photo from my Family Journal?
Click Photo Albums, click the album (if photo is in album), click Edit, then select Delete.
How can I delete a Note from my Family Journal?
Currently, you cannot delete a note once it is posted.
How do I delete my account?
Currently, you cannot delete your account. Contact us if you need to do so.
Do I have to pay to use Treepod?
No. We respect the nature of family relationships and will never charge a subscription or display intrusive ads.
Will my family members need to pay to use Treepod?

How can I change my email address?
Click you name in the upper right corner, click Account Settings, then click Change.
How do I change/reset my password?
Sign Out and click Forgot.
How can I change my Treepod Profile Photo?
Click you name in the upper right corner, click Account Settings, then click Change Profile Photo area.
How do I change my first name, last name, or location of residency?
Click you name in the upper right corner, click Account Settings, then click Change in the appropriate area.
How do I change a photo album’s cover photo?
Click Photo Albums, click on the photo album, click Edit, and then click Change in the Cover Photo area.
How can I change my Treepod Notification Settings?
Click you name in the upper right corner, click Account Settings, then click Change in the Notifications area.
How is Treepod different than Facebook?
Can I download all of my photos?
Yes. Simply view any photo and click Download.
